Scope of service
On the outdoor areas of the St. Gabriel daycare center in Niederraunau, many new play opportunities for the children were created by our spatial planning, foundation engineering and SiGe coordination teams. The redesign of the kindergarten outdoor area focused on the implementation of the five pillars according to Sebastian Kneipp: water, exercise, nutrition, medicinal plants as well as relaxation and rest. Our teams created various areas in which these elements are implemented: a fountain with trough, a multifunctional play element with climbing possibilities, suspension bridge and slide. A new double swing, a sandbox, a play kitchen with surrounding herb bed, and an area with seating cushions are also now available to the children. The crèche children can also look forward to new play opportunities in the outdoor area: the terrace offers space for seating groups for eating, playing or crafts, as well as a crawling corner with fall protection. Due to the existing height situation, the terrace was fixed by wall panels and secured by a glass railing covered with flower meadow. In the garden area, the children have access to various play elements such as a sandbox, a nest swing and a slide.
